Purpose and acceptance

Personal Ring Dashboard is a private, self-hosted application intended for personal, non-commercial use by its operator. Use of the application constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Authorization

The application may access account data only after the account holder grants permission through the applicable authorization process. Users must not use the application to access another person's information without that person's clear permission.

Permitted use

The application may be used only for lawful personal purposes and in accordance with applicable provider agreements, authorization permissions, and privacy requirements.

Information obtained through the application may not be sold, disclosed without permission, or used to develop or train an artificial intelligence or machine-learning model.

No medical advice

The application provides information for personal reference only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring, or professional healthcare services.

Questions about health, symptoms, or treatment should be directed to an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Availability and accuracy

Information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or affected by changes to third-party APIs, networks, devices, local systems, or software.

The application is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, preservation of data, or suitability for a particular purpose.

Third-party services

Third-party service providers make their services, data, and functionality available without warranties on their behalf, whether express, statutory, or implied. This includes implied warranties concerning merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, third-party service providers are excluded from liability for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the application.

Limitation of responsibility

The application operator is responsible for server security, software maintenance, backups, authorization credentials, and decisions made using information displayed by the application.

No guarantee is made that locally stored data can always be recovered. Important information should not rely on this application as its only copy.

Termination and deletion

Use may be discontinued and authorization may be revoked at any time. When access ends, authorization credentials and locally stored user data will be deleted when no longer needed for the authorized purpose or when deletion is requested.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the application changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
